The initial step in conducting a research study is selecting a research topic; from that point to the finish, when writing the research report, the researcher should maintain control over the research study.
- Should be Accurate: Accuracy is essential because a research report cannot be valid and generalizable unless it is accurate. Therefore, the researcher must check the accuracy at each stage of the research. For example, when the researcher is reviewing the literature, he should write down the references along with the literature review so that when he writes the reviews, he can accurately write the reference of each review.
